Friend's  Meeting Schedule:

OUR next meeting will then be Wednesday June 12, 2019 at 5PM.   Potluck Supper at the Thorburn residence in Lamoine. meeting starts at 6PM.  We will not have a July meeting. .

 

ongoing BOOK SALES:   If you need a book and cannot wait till the next sale, please check out our book sale rack next to the circulation desk, a larger rack means an expanded selection of books are available for purchase whenever the library is open, books at the low price of $1.00 or less.    Donation of clean books are being accepted.  Please bring books to the Library during normal operating hours.  Thank you for your support. 

 

MAY BOOK SALE: We are pleased to announce the sale was a great success and took in $1,283 during this three day sale.   Thank you all who helped make this another great sale.

 

 

NEXT BOOKSALE:  In the Riverview Room at the Library, the next sale starts Thursday August 8th Setup at Noon, Sale from 4PM till 7PM. Friday August 9th, Sale from 9AM till 4PM and finishes on Saturday August 10th,  Sale  9AM till 1PM, Cleanup 1-2PM.  As alway many great adult and youth books, most priced $1 or less.

 

 

2019 BOOKSALES:  We are plannng TWO more book sales in 2019.  The tlast full 3 day sales August 8-10 and a single day sale on November 2nd.  We may add addional sales if the book supply is strong.  More details will be published in the Friend's Newsletter and on this web-site as we get near the sales.

 

FRIEND'S LOGO TOTES FOR SALE The new supply of GREEN book totes on order have arrived, please check them out, and if you like them please purchase one for yourself and remember they do make wonderful gifts.  Totes are for sale at the Circulation desk during normal Library hours, and at the book sales.

The Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library are community members working on behalf of the library to raise funds and increase community involvement in the library.

 

Volunteer

Volunteers always have a splendid time at the book sale. Thank You to all who participated in these events because through your participation we raise funding for the many programs not funded by the city.  If you can volunteer but were not called please leave a name and phone number at the circulation desk or get it touch with Melanie Zador.

The Spring programming is just starting, the schedule is included in our newsletter, and on the Librarys website.    Please remember this quality programming is only available and free because your donations make it happen.  In case of inclement weather Library closures will be posted on their Web-site and Facebook page.
