The next Monthly meeting is Wednesday May 4th, 2016 at 7PM in
the Riverview Room at the Library. We will be discussing the full Book sale April 21st. The next
scheduled meeting will be on Wednesday June 2nd at 7PM at the
Thorburn residence in Lamoine.
BOOK SALESThe April book sale, which ended on Saturday April
23rd Raised $1130.
Thank you to all the volunteers and the many loyal patrons who
make these sales such a great success. Please check out
our Book sale rack next to the circulation desk, a larger
rack means an expanded selection of books are available for
purchase whenever the library is open, books at the low price of
$1.00 or less.
A full blown 3 day Book sale is set for
August 11 through the 13th in the Riverview room. Thursday August
11th, Set-up at noon, SALE from
4PM-7PM. Friday August 12th, SALE
from 9AM-4PM and Saturday August 13th, SALE
9AM-1PM Cleanup1PM-2PM. We will be offering some books of
higher value at a slightly higher price during he August sale.
Donations of books in good condition are always
welcome; please just leave them at the Library during normal
LIBRARY COOKBOOK The New Library cookbook
are for sale at the Library
for $5. Sale of the
cookbook will benefit the Building expansion Fund. Contribute toward a good cause, acquire a
good cookbook at a reasonable price, and try some new foods
using recipes by the staff and the community of the Ellsworth
MY WAY 5K--FUN RUN The Library
is holding another 5K Fun-Run to benefit the Library's
Building and Renovation Fund. SUNDAY JUNE 12, 2016,
9:00AM, Start and finish at the Ellsworth Middle School.

FRIEND'S LOGO TOTES FOR SALE
replenished our supply of the Blue totes
and they are still $10, so please purchase one for yourself
and remember they do make wonderful gifts., totes are for sale
at the Circulation desk during normal Library hours.
The Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library are community members working on behalf of the library to raise funds and increase community involvement in the library.
Volunteers always have a splendid time at the book sale. Thank
You to all who participated in these events because through
your participation we raise funding for the many programs not
funded by the city. If you can volunteer
but were not called please leave a name and phone number at
the circulation desk or get it touch with Melanie Zador.
The summer programming is being arranged now.
New offerings will be posted on the Library web-site/Facebook Page. Please remember
this quality programming is only available and free because
your donations made it happen.
