Next Meeting

The next regular  meeting is Wednesday August 6th  at 7PM in the Riverview Room at the Ellsworth Public Library.  The September meeting will be at 7pm on the 3rd and the annual meeting will be in October.

The Annual Library Pet Show was Saturday July 19th.  The Friends provide funding for the pet show as well as giving away lemonaid and animal crackers to the human participants and spectators.

The July booksale netted the friends about $1,400.  We moved many books and made a lot of people happy as we sell quality books for less.  Thank you to all the Friends who volunteer to help with the sale or come by to purchase books, as the funds raised help the Friends support the Library and the community oriented programs they provide.

Donations of books in good condition are always welcome; please just leave them at the Library during normal hours.

Totes!  We just got a new shipment of the Blue totes in and they are still $10, so please purchase one for yourself and remember they do make wonderful gifts.

Welcome Friends!

The Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library are community members working on behalf of the library to raise funds and increase community involvement in the library.

Volunteers always have a splendid time at the book sale. Thank You to all who participated in these events because through your participation we raise funding for the many programs not funded by the city.  If you can volunteer but were not called please leave a name and phone number at the circulation desk or get it touch with Melanie Zador.

Program Schedule

The summer programming is diverse and a lot of fun for all to see.  Your donations made it happen.  For current programming please check our newsletter and the library web site/Facebook.
