Friend's  Meeting Schedule:       the next meeting is scheduled for WEDNESDAY JUN 3RD, 2023 at 3:00 PM IN THE RIVERVIEW ROOM.  

 

Ongoing BOOK SALES:    If you need a book please check out our book sale racks near the circulation desk, multiple racks mean an expanded selection of books are available for purchase whenever the library is open, books are for sale by donation.  as we look forward to our May sale, donations of clean, LIKE NEW books are being accepted at this time.    Thank you for your support. 

 

2023 FRIENDS BOOK SALES: are scheduled as follows; all sales will be in the Riverview Room, schedule may change depending on book supply.

3 Day SALE, Thursday August 10, 2023 Sale 4PM- 7PM

                       Friday August 11, Sale 9AM-4PM

                       Saturday August 12, Sale 9AM – 1PM Cleanup 1 – 2PM

1 Day SALE, Saturday October 28, 2023 Sale 9AM – 3PM Cleanup 3 – 4PM

 

 

FRIENDS NEWS:  If you hve been in the library lately you may have noticed a change, the new Director, Sarah Lesko has been working  She is energetic, loves the Ellsworth Library and is looking forward to the challenges ahead.  She is engaging the Library Community as she starts working on a new stategic plan for  the Library.   Sarah has  strengthened the Friends display space allowing more books to be available for patrons to purchase in the area across from the circulation desk, please key you eye on this space as more changes are in the works.. 

 

 

FRIEND'S LOGO TOTES FOR SALE The supply of all BLUE book totes is about exhausted.  We have ordered a new Blue and White tote which will be slightly larger.  If you are looking for one for yourself or somebody else, they be on display and for sale at the Circulation desk during normal Library hours.

 

Welcome Friends!  The Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library are community members working on behalf of the library to raise funds and increase community involvement in the library.

 

Volunteer:   Thank You to all who have participated in our past events because through your participation we raise funding for the many programs not funded by the city.  If you can volunteer please leave a name and phone number at the circulation desk or get it touch with Melanie Zador. 

We are also looking for ways to attract younger members to the Friends, including ways to engage with volunteers at activities beside the book sales, this discussion will continue.   Ideas are welcome!!!

 

 

Program Schedule: The Library's current status is kept updated on their Web-site and Facebook page.  Many on-line activities are listed and available on the web-site as well.  Please Keep Well!!
