The next Monthly meeting will be
Wednesday March 4th, 2015 at 3PM at the Library. We
will explore some new ways to extend our fundraising
activities as well as the upcoming Mini Booksale. The next meeting will be Wednesday
April 1st, 2015 at 3PM at the Library.
In Memory, we sadly note the passing away of Patricia
Ramsdell Foster on February 2nd. Pat was not
only a past Director of the Library she was a true "friend".
She always had a smile and was an ardent supporter of the
Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library.
NEW LIBRARY COOKBOOK The New Library cookbook
are for sale at the Library
for $10. Sale of the
cookbook will benefit the Building expansion Fund. Contribute toward a good cause, acquire a
good cookbook at a reasonable price, and try some new foods
using recipes by the staff and the community of the Ellsworth
BOOK SALE The Saturday February
7th mini booksale on the
main floor of the Library went well, with over $200 raised.
We will hold another Mini Booksale on
Saturday March 14th from 9AM
to 1PM. We have discussed selling
books on Gardening, Fix it up, Art, Sports and Travel but are
still in the planning stages
Donations of books in good condition are always
welcome; please just leave them at the Library during normal
Totes! We just got a new shipment of the Blue totes
in and they are still $10, so please purchase one for yourself
and remember they do make wonderful gifts.
June 14, 2015
This anticipated event will be great for Ellsworth, for those
who like to run and walk, and for the Ellsworth Public
Library's Building and Renovation Fund. That's right, all
proceeds will go to the Library's Building Project. We hope
you can be involved.
Volunteers needed the week
before and the day of the race (yes, some allow you to sit on
the job). Follow the directions below to sign up on line, or
stop by the Circulation Desk as the Library to pick up a paper
registration form. Hope to see you there!
