Friend's  Meeting Schedule:    The next Friends meeting is scheduled for WEDNESDAY APR 3, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the Riverview Room in the Library.  

 

Ongoing BOOK SALES:    If you need a book please check out our book sale racks near the circulation desk, multiple racks mean an expanded selection of books are available for purchase whenever the library is open, books are for sale by donation, Cash or Check only.    Thank you for your support. 

 

2024 FRIENDS BOOK SALES:  We had a book sale in January and we raised $1,161.00 in donations for the books sold.  Many left over books were given to Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry and Kidspeace to advance literacy in the community!

 

Gardening and Sports books Spring sale Saturday March 16, 10AM-12Noon

 

3 Day  SALE, We will be featuring a lot of books, Much fiction and a whole table of art books.

                        Friday May 17, 2024 Sale 9AM-4PM  

                       Saturday May 18, 2024 Sale 9AM – 1PM  (Cleanup 1 – 2PM)

FRIEND'S LOGO TOTES FOR SALE  The new canvas Blue and White totes are stunning.  If you are looking for one for yourself or somebody else as a gift, they be on display and for sale at the Circulation desk during normal Library hours.  The cost is $15 and are sale by cash or check only. 

 

Friend Activities! 

Donate:  We are alway looking for good condition books for our book sales, DVDs and Puzzles sell quickly as well, so please donate during Library hours.

 

Volunteer:   Thank You to all who have participated in our past events because through your participation we raise funding for the many programs not funded by the city.  If you can volunteer please leave a name and phone number at the circulation desk or get it touch with Anne Lusby. 

We are also looking for ways to attract younger members to the Friends, including ways to engage with volunteers at activities beside the book sales, this discussion will continue.   Ideas are welcome!!!
