Next Meeting

 The next Monthly meeting will be Wednesday  Wednesday September 2nd, 2015 at 7PM in the Riverview Room at the Library.  Followed by the Annual Meeting October 7th at 7PM in the Library's Riverview Room.




NEW LIBRARY COOKBOOK  The New Library cookbook are for sale at the Library for $10.   Sale of the cookbook will benefit the Building expansion Fund. Contribute toward a good cause, acquire a good cookbook at a reasonable price, and try some new foods using recipes by the staff and the community of the Ellsworth Public Library.



BOOK SALE  The Summer book sale  in the Riverview room which ran last Thursday August 6th through Saturday August 8th Raised $1,450 Thank you to the many volunteers who offer the Friends a hand and equally the many Friends who are book buyers and freely spend thier money on the books.  Your assistance and desire to purchase books make the Book Sales happen. 


The next book sale is not officially scheduled yet, but we expect it to be in the fall sometime in early November.  This will be a small sale, on a Saturday Morning and will be held on the Main floor of the Library.  We will offer some Holiday themed books and books suitable for Gift Giving.  More information should be available after the September Meeting.  Please watch for posters and in the Newsletter once a date is selected.


Donations of books in good condition are always welcome; please just leave them at the Library during normal hours.

FRIEND'S LOGO TOTES FOR SALE We just replenished our supply of the Blue totes and they are still $10, so please purchase one for yourself and remember they do make wonderful gifts., totes are for sale at the Circulation desk during normal Library hours.


Welcome Friends!

The Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library are community members working on behalf of the library to raise funds and increase community involvement in the library.



Volunteers always have a splendid time at the book sale. Thank You to all who participated in these events because through your participation we raise funding for the many programs not funded by the city.  If you can volunteer but were not called please leave a name and phone number at the circulation desk or get it touch with Melanie Zador.
