This is a support group for women with breast cancer which provides education and exercise. They meet the first and third Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

Downeast Health Services is a nonprofit agency that offers visiting nurses who provide basic medical care, emotional support, nutritional counseling and information concerning alcohol and tobacco use, safety, breast-feeding and communication skills.

The family planning program delivers services with fees based on the sliding fee scale. Medicaid is accepted. They also offer counseling services for Nutrition, HIV, menopausal and infertility.

Physical Exams: Pelvic exams, pap smears, breast exams, blood pressure screenings, urinalysis and hematocrit, HIV testing, colon cancer screenings

Pregnancy Testing: Pregnancy testing is available as well as counseling and nutritional screening for pregnancy.

Treatment of Infections: Testing, diagnosis and treatment of bladder/urinary tract infection, vaginal infections as well as sexually transmitted diseases.

Birth Control: Contraceptives are offered with a six month supply. Contraceptives available are condoms, pills, diaphragms, cervical caps and gels.

The services available for women include breast exams, pelvic exams, pap smears, pregnancy testing and counseling as well as menopausal counseling. Services provided for both men and women include colon cancer screenings, urinalysis and hematocrit, blood pressure screenings, nutrition counseling, referral services, contraceptive supplies (6 months supply), STD testing and treatment, infertility counseling and referral and HIV testing and counseling.
