This facility provides individual, couple and group counseling. Staff includes Stephen White, Ed.D., LCPC, LADC and Mary White, M.Ed., LPC. Steve White specializes in drug and alcohol abuse and he also works with men and adolescent boys and couples. Mary White sees mostly women and adolescent girls over 15 years of age where she works on issues including but are not limited to depression, anxiety, stress, relationships and domestic abuse. Both are active participants with the Hospice of Hancock County where they work on bereavement issues.

Focuses on recognizing abuse, the right to make health choices and emotional support. Support groups for children ages 6-11 years old is available. Child care is provided for younger children. They also provide referrals to other services.

This organization provides emergency psychiatric services to parents and children over the phone. The answering service answers and asks for name, number and location as well as age and name of child in crisis then they contact a professional.

Community Health and Counseling (667-3626)
This is a home health organization that has an umbrella of services. Services are supplied for elderly, adults, and children, which include acute care, mental health and much more.

Downeast Health Services (667-5304)
Home health organization serving the community. It services prenatal and postpartum mothers and children.

Public Health Nursing 667-1609
Assists families and communities by providing home health services which promote/assist healthy lifestyles through assessment, education, health promotion and prevention. They serve as school nurses, case managers for Tuberculosis patients, elderly patients, prenatal/postpartum patients and their children. Services are free.
