Health Link Wellness Center at Mill Mall (667-2474)
Health Link is a division of Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. It is a wellness center dedicated to health promotion. It is offered five days a week from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. They offer blood pressure checks every Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. They sponsor immunization clinics, support groups, health education programs, health promotion programs and a recreation center. Some programs that are offered include the following: Mens Cancer Support group which is held the second Monday of the month from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Wellness Center. Weight Watchers every Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday at 8a.m. at the Wellness Center.

P.A.T.C.H. walks every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Rides are available from the Health Link Center at 9:15.

Fresh start program is a smoking cessation program held on January 5, 12, 18, and 26th from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

ADDvance is a support group for Attention Deficit Disorder. Groups for adults and their partners is held the third Wednesday of the month from 6:30-8:30. The parents and Educators group is held the third Friday of each month from 6:30-8:30.

Downeast Transportation (667-5796) 194 Main St.
Downeast Transportation is a nonprofit organization which provides bus travel throughout Hancock and Penobscot counties. A small fee is charged for the service. The buses are handicapped accessible but they will not do home pick ups. In town buses leave from the Grasshopper shop at 8 a.m. Monday through Friday to any destination in Ellsworth such as Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, the malls, doctors and dentists offices etc. They have two other buses.

Washington Hancock Community Agency (1-888-805-5552)
WHCA is a nonprofit non governmental private corporation. They provide services such as Medicaid Transportation, transportation to Family reunification, transportation to health care, transportation to Meals for Me, and transportation to sheltered workshops. They will do home pick ups and are open from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
