Friend's  Meeting Schedule:       the next meeting is scheduled for WEDNESDAY FEB 7, 2024 at 3:00 PM IN THE RIVERVIEW ROOM.  

 

Ongoing BOOK SALES:    If you need a book please check out our book sale racks near the circulation desk, multiple racks mean an expanded selection of books are available for purchase whenever the library is open, books are for sale by donation.  as we look forward to our 2024 sales, donations of clean, LIKE NEW, books are being accepted at this time.    Thank you for your support. 

 

2024 FRIENDS BOOK SALES:  Yes we are having a book sale in January, see below.  At the Jan meeting we scheduled 4 book sales for 2024, please see the attached Newsletter for the full schedule.

2 Day "Cabin Fever Reliever" SALE, We willbe featuring Thing to do books, Much fiction and a whole table of puzzles.

                       Friday January 26, 2024 Sale 2PM-4PM  (Setup 12noon-2PM)

                       Saturday January 27, 2024 Sale 9AM – 1PM  (Cleanup 1 – 2PM)

 

FRIENDS NEWS:  the Library has doubled the Friends Book Sale display cases allowing more books to be available for patrons to purchase in the area across from the circulation desk, please check it out.

 

FRIEND'S LOGO TOTES FOR SALE The new canvas Blue and White totes are stunning.  If you are looking for one for yourself or somebody else as a gift, they be on display and for sale at the Circulation desk during normal Library hours.  The cost is $15 and are sale by cash or check only. 

 

Friend Activities!  Right now we are focused on the January 2 day book sale.

 

Volunteer:   Thank You to all who have participated in our past events because through your participation we raise funding for the many programs not funded by the city.  If you can volunteer please leave a name and phone number at the circulation desk or get it touch with Anne Lusby. 

We are also looking for ways to attract younger members to the Friends, including ways to engage with volunteers at activities beside the book sales, this discussion will continue.   Ideas are welcome!!!
